Super League 2017: Mabouya Valley Steps Up!!

Mabouya Valley ripped through the defending champions in their second encounter in the ever exciting Vizions Super League. In front of an absolutely  packed crowd at La Resource, the Valley held a two goal lead in the first half of this encounter. After 30 minutes of play, prolific striker Vernon Abbot gave the title hopefuls their cushion in this group of death. The second half presented more physical play  from both teams, but, in the end two more goals from the Valley and one from Micoud ensured a 4-1 victory for the home team…

Earlier, Dennery and Marchand played to a 2-2 draw…As a result, Marchand and Mabouya Valley are on top of this group of death, with Marchand enjoying a superior goal difference… Action in the competition moves to the Soufriere mini stadium and the Phillip Marcellin Grounds tonight. In Soufriere, Soufriere takes on La Clery at 8:30pm but before this, the National Under 20 take on Laborie at 6:30pm. At the Phillip Marcellin Grounds, Mon Repos takes on Canaries at 6:30pm, while Vieux Fort south come up against Anse-La-Rae at 8:30pm…Action moves back to the Mabouya Valley on Thursday night with a huge top of the table clash between Mabouya Valley and Marchand, and Micoud taking on South Castries. A bumper crowd expected as usual…
