St. Lucia Tennis Juniors Set Off to Antigua


Seven junior tennis players are headed off to Antigua this weekend to participate in the fourth staging of the Caribbean Junior Invitational 12 & under tennis tournament.  Six male tennis juniors namely Ishmel Moise (Winner of the U12s Easter Junior Tennis Tournament), Saneil Bernard, Saige Charlemagne, Linel Demar, Arden Rosemond and Ronaldo St Juste; and one female Niesha Cherry will be traveling to compete in this annual junior tennis event. Chaperoning the junior team is St. Lucia National Tennis Centre Administrators Ms. Scyla Murray and Ms. Diana Stanislas, and Tennis Parent Ms. Kizzy Flood.  The team expects to come out victorious in this junior event; competing against counterparts from 45 different countries, Nicaragua, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay, Guyana and the British Virgin islands to name a few.  This tennis tournament runs from April 29th until May 3rd 2016.   The junior tennis team has been training daily on refining their technique & skill with National Tennis Coach Carlos Lopez and match play and physicals with Coach Scyla Murray.
