The Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School got their 2017 Schools Sports season off to a good start on Tuesday and continued to show their dominance with another win on Wednesday. The school who has won the highly coveted tittle of best academic institution for sports on the island on multiple occasions, defeated Anse Ger Secondary in the Under 15 football earlier today.
In the match played at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort, Stephen Octave registered an impressive brace to propel the team from the southwest of the island to victory. Renald Francis also found of the net, as Soufriere sealed a 3-nil victory.
On Tuesday afternoon, Soufriere defeated Anse Ger 2-nil in the Under 19 division.
