New Name for Stadium

It was complete euphoria at the Hewannora International Airport, on Tuesday, as St. Lucia’s very own Daran Sammy and Johnson Charles made their way back home, with the 2016 ICC World T20 Trophy. Greeted first by Prime Minister Dr. Kenny Anthony, along with the Minister for youth development and Sports Shawn Edward, Sammy and Charles were later engulfed by a throng of fanatic St. Lucian supporters. At the Ceremony, Prime Minister Dr. Kenny Athony announced, what HTS Sports has been lobbying for during the last year. The Beausejour Cricket ground, will now be renamed the Darran Sammy Cricket Grounds. Johnson Charles for his exploits, will recieve from the Government of St. Lucia a spot of land and one of the Pavillions at the Darran Sammy cricket Grounds, named after him. West Indies registered perhaps the most historic victory over England in the 2016 final, after Carlos Braithwaite launched 4 consecutive sixes over the ropes to seal victory for the caribbean side…
