After 12 preliminary matches played at the Mindoo Phillip Park, Monchy and La Ressource Playing Fields, the Masters Cricket Festival has reached the semi final stage. According to the rules, the team which topped the points standings at the end of the preliminary rounds automatically qualifies for the finals and the next two best placed teams engage each other in a semi final to determine the other finalist. Islanders have qualified to the grand final due to a superior net ran rate on fellow top of the table team Castries. So, on Monday March 28th, 2016 New Park will do battle against Castries at the Beausejour Cricket Ground at 2:00 pm to determine who is worthy to meet Islanders in the grand finals. The Festival has been kindly supported by Eagle Freight & Brokerage Services, Ministry of Youth Development and Sports, Amurbroise Co. Ltd; GTM Insurance, St. Lucia Workers Credit Union and North South Enterprises Ltd.
