Laborie Road Relays

The Laborie Credit Union celebrated their 40th anniversary with a road relay and sports event on Monday March 28th 2016. Teams from across the island made the trek down south to compete at this auspicious event. St. Lucia’s most decorated long distance athletes Zephrinus Joseph was there and told St. Lucia Sports online that  he was “happy to be here to support other road athletes,” and participate in this event. Also present was former OECS Champion well known road athlete Jason Sayers. Sayers indicated his desire to “win this year,” since they came in second the previous year.

Well, in the end, El Nino came in third place and won, $250, Choiseul Athletic Club came in second to secure $750 and Road Busters comprising national athlete such as Wayne “Ali” St. Ange and Jason Sayers  won the event cashing in on a cool $1000.00.
