The Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) has named a 13-man T20 squad to participate in a triangular tournament to be hosted by Antigua and Barbuda Cricket Association from October 7 to 15.
The tournament forms part of Antigua and Barbuda’s Independence celebrations and, according to the JCA, Jamaica will be using it to expose and showcase some of its emerging talent.
The team will be captained by veteran Nikita Miller and includes John Campbell, Jermaine Harrison, Trevon Griffith, Kerry Holness, Brandon King, Derval Green, Romaine Morris, Oshane Thomas, Nicholson Gordon, Gavin Wallace, Pete Salmon and Fabian Allen.
Experienced national coach, Junior Bennett, will lead the team that will be managed by Donovan Senior.
The players that have been selected to represent the West Indies on the recently announced Pakistan tour and the ‘A’ Team tour of Sri Lanka, have not been included in the squad.
