Five St. Lucians Selected for WICB Women Tournament

The Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control has release the final fourteen players to participate in the WICB Women  Super 50 and T/20 Regional Tournaments which will be played  from July 3-25th 2016 in Guyana.

St. Lucia  who won all  the games convincingly  in the recently played  series of matches against Dominica  gained five selectees on the team namely: young Qiana Joseph who is currently at the WICB Emerging  Players Camp in Barbados and Yasmine St. Ange who is a back at the UWI Cave Hill Campus and  will be training  with former West Indies player  Pedro Collins.

Other players selected  from St.Luica  are:   Roylin Cooper , Nerissa Crafton  and Swayline Williams.

The team will be coached by Cleton Burnette of SVG ,  and Eugena Gregg -St. Lucia’s Former West Indies all rounder.

The St. Lucia National Cricket Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports  congratulates the  Management and Team and wish them success in the upcoming WICB Regional  Tournament.
