The grand final of the Blackheart Champion of Champions kicked off on Saturday night between Babonneau and Micoud. Micoud got to the final thanks to a great goal keeping display by former national goal keeper Noah Didier. Micoud defeated Dennery 4-2 on penalties.
Babonneau also got to title decider by defeating Gros Islet in a penalty shootout.
In this encounter, Babonneau made a number of changes in personnel on the field as injury to experienced defender Kissinger Anthony forced midfielder Nehemiah Wilfred in defence. In true champion fashion, Micoud went through the entire tournament without conceding a single goal.
The second half saw more attacking football from Micoud who had a number of half chances early on. Despite a valiant effort from the guys up north. Micoud went on to win the $5000 cash.
