75km Cycling Race Scheduled for the Weekend!!

St. Lucia Cycling Association will be hosting a 75km Road Race on Sunday September 11th 2016 schedule to start at 7.30 am.

the race will start at the Sol Gas Station in Bexon, Proceed to Ravine Poison turn and ride towards Castries unto Millenium highway, turn at Roundabout near the Owen King Hospital and back to So Bexon Sol Gastation covering 25km. The cyclists will do this circuit three times.


Cyclists from Project Breakaway, Excellers Cycling Club, Dennery Rocketers, Mon Repos Cycling  among other unattached riders will be participating in this event.

The Elite riders preparing for the Elite Caribbean Cycling Championships will be on hand to give out their best as they will be seeking selection on the National Team for the Championships scheduled in Guadeloupe this year. Among the contenders are Fidel Esnard, Winston “Stoney’ Williams, Gillan Moses, National Champion Antinous “Chad” Jn Baptiste.


The Junior and Juvenille category will include Kluivert Mitchel, Hilan Aubert, Donald Joseph, Dave Charlery and Andrew Norbert, with Raymond Volney and Valence Aurelien and Kenneth Mathurin among others will be in contention for this event.
